I decided that each week, I'm going to put the stack of library books and research papers aside for a few hours to explore and just enjoy being in London. Week one was the perfect beginning for my goal! It was a beautiful and sunny day - quite rare for London this time of year. A stroll through St. James' Park, a riverside stroll along the Thames, and venturing out to the far region of Canary Wharf (almost to Zone 3!) made for a lovely afternoon. The only thing that could have made it sweeter is having my best friend beside me holding my hand.
