This 'study break' idea just gets better and better each week! I tried to coordinate my exploring with happenings in London, and this weekend I meshed together Chinese New Year, an exhibit-closing party at the V&A, and my new-found love - Fortnum & Mason's.
I explored Chinatown for a few hours in the afternoon...
| Toasts to Sunny & Jeff :) |
| I'm not sure of why they are called this... |
...and grabbed dinner at a legit Japanese kitchen for dinner.
And yes, I ate this. All.
Then I popped over to the Victoria & Albert's Museum of Childhood for the Afro Supa Hero exhibition closing.

Confession? I actually said peace-out to school for a couple of hours on Thursday too to go for a walk around London, and found Fortnum & Mason's. All the refinement of Harrod's yet without the stifling snobbery. Did I get free samples? Yes :) And perhaps one day after the Army gives us a raise I can buy some things that aren't so free...
